October 2023 Camino Training Walk and Meetup – Woodford

Posted on November 4, 2023November 26, 2023 by BM C Supporters

The morning started with lots of excitement, smiles and hugs with several walkers recently returned from their respective Caminos. There were a few regulars we hadn’t seen for a while so lots of catching up to do! Les had baked some ‘Camino shell’ shortbread to share at the Pilgrim Table, gracias.

The nineteen walkers who joined us for the Transit of Venue track, Woodford initially set off together visiting Mabel Falls before the group split into 2 going different directions. The Easy group walked appox 7kms The Medium group were heading to WoodFord Dam before returning via Wellesley Firetrail (12kms) and back to Woodford Academy Reserve for lunch and Camino Meetup.

Our guest speakers today, JennyA and Ann & Terry were interviewed by Sharise shared their insights of their respective Caminos. More inspiring suggestions for us all to consider for our next Camino!

Thank you all for joining us today for Woodford walk. It was wonderful to see you all, until next month in Blackheath for BMCS November Camino Celebracion weekend, Ulteria!
