The last Saturday of the month walk was Wentworth Falls loop. Due to illness of walk leaders and the weather forecast to be warm, there was a notified change of walking route to Wentworth Falls loop. Despite the route change and warm weather (and being AFL grand final day), we had 16 walkers including 3 new to the group.
The routes offered much welcomed shade most of the way, stunning views, creek crossings, waterfalls, Undercliff and Overcliff tracks and lots of sandstone stepping stones. NPWS have done another outstanding job with the track upgrade especially the areas that were muddy with the seeping water.
A very enjoyable morning walk. There was no formal Camino Meetup today but instead lunch in the newly reopened The Conservation Hut and lots of Camino chatter.
Thank you everybody who joined us, including 2 from the Central Coast, several from St George/The Shire and around the Sydney basin and Blue Mountains.
Thanks to the photographers for use of photos from Wentworth Falls. Gracias!
