30 September: Wentworth Falls

Walk 1 – Easy
Start time: 8:45am for 9:00am start
Meeting point: End of Chester Rd, Wentworth Falls. Location.
Distance: 7 km. About 3 hours
Description: A scenic walk along Chester Trail to Lincoln Rock then through bushland near Tableland Rd to enjoy views and spring wildflowers. Bring food and drink as there are no shops on this walk.

Walk 2 – Medium/hard
Start time: 8:45am for 9am start. Finish at approximately 4pm. Note: this is an ALL DAY walk.
Meeting point: Kedumba Valley Road, Wentworth Falls, exact location to be provided a week prior.
Distance: 18km, with a 750m elevation descent / ascent.
Description: A scenic walk along fire trails down to the Kedumba River, then return the same way up. Outstanding views of the Keduma Walls and Mount Solitary. Bring plenty of snacks and a picnic lunch to eat at the river. You will need at least 2 litres of water – more if its a hot day.

To join the medium walk you must have walked with the Blue Mountains Camino group previously – no first timers. You also need to be confident of your fitness to walk for 4 hours.

INFORMAL CAMINO MEETUP AFTER EASY WALK
Instead of our regular meetup:
Easy walkers will meet for lunch and an informal Camino gathering at the Grand View Hotel, Wentworth Falls. We have reserved a table in the dining area from 12.30pm. More info: Grand View Hotel Bistro
Medium walkers will have a picnic lunch and informal Camino gathering at Kedumba River.
