We met on a lovely Autumn morning at Wilson Park on Falls Road, Wentworth Falls. The Easy group of 13 walkers headed down Falls Road to the Shortcut track enjoyed great views out to the valley and Mount Solitary then coffees at the Conservation Hut. We then headed up the Nature Trail to Great Western HWY and returning to Falls Road via the Wentworth Falls Cemetery.
The Medium group of 12 walkers walked to the Nature Trail stopping to look at the views from Edinburgh Castle Rock, along to Lillian’s Glen and then on to some views of Wentworth Falls. We went along to the beautiful Weeping Rock before continuing along the Clifftop walk to the Conservation Hut for a rest stop and then back to Falls Road.
We had a really enjoyable Camino Meetup at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Hall after lunch. Sharing Camino stories and experiences. Sharise led a fun round of interviews with all experienced pilgrims being asked a “Dan Mullins” inspired question to answer. Thank you to everyone who participated with such enthusiasm and generosity.
Special thanks to Ann and Sue for providing our lovely afternoon tea treats (Camino inspired of course)
